Jeff combines his 35-year career in business with a passion for entrepreneurship and support for the Arts.

​

Since 2016 as Lead Trumpet and since 2019 as the Executive Director for the popular Evolution Big Band, Jeff leads an all-volunteer organization that has helped area charities raise more than $500,000.

​

Jeff served as a Business Mentor for start-up and early-stage companies through the Don Ryan Center for Innovation in Bluffton, South Carolina.

​

He also served as an instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of South Carolina's Bluffton campus.

​

He also served as a Board member for the Live Oak Performing Center,  a $6 million, 400-seat facility to be built in Bluffton.

​

In 2021, Jeff was elected to the Board of Directors for the Oldfield Community Association and served as its President in 2022. 

​

He recently completed nine years of service on the Alumni Board of Directors at his alma mater, Drake University, where he also continues to mentor students on their career aspirations and plans.

​

Through his role as Chairman of the Beaufort County Arts Council, Jeff conducted workshops to help artists achieve commercial success using their talents.
